The movement for Democratic Change has elected Advocate Nelson Chamisa as its President. This follows the holding of its extra-ordinary Gweru congress that was mired by controversies and unending court cases and court rulings as disgruntled individuals sought to block the event.
Meanwhile, Adv. Chamisa has landed the top post without any competition as his post was not contested by any other person. The one man race ended up as an endorsement of the new leader as president after the demise of Dr. R.M. Tsvangirai who passed on on the 14th of February 2018.
