The 2019 edition of the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair Company (ZITF) was officially opened by His Excellency the president of Uganda Yoweri Museveni. This year’s edition runs under the theme:
“Propagating Industrial Growth through Trade and Investment”
This theme resonates well with the government thrust of Vision 2030 that seeks to create an upper middle class economy by 2030.
Minister of Industry and Commerce Hon. Nqobizitha Ndlovu made it clear that his ministry was so happy that the show had shown marked increases in exhibitors with all stands being taken up and the ZITF had to create tent stands to cater for the excess exhibitors.
The Minister added that the 2019 edition of ZITF has come at a time when Zimbabwe has embarked on an economic stabilization programme that seeks to engage and re-engage with the international community.
The show runs from the 23rd to the 27th of April.
