Hon. Prof. Mthuli Ncube yesterday begged Zimbabweans to understand the economics of the nation and take pride in the fact that the government is working flat out to better the lives of the people.
This comes after massive price hikes of products and services that were witnessed over the past week or so. Responding to questions on the sidelines of the 39th independence celebrations at the giant National Sports Stadium Prof. Ncube alluded to the fact that Government resented the sudden prize craze that had gripped industry and commerce.
He said the generality of the people should take pride in the fact that Government was not idle but was working hard in implementing the Transitional Stabilization Programme that will sure reap great rewards.
Asked on when people should start seeing results Hon. Ncube said “Rome was not built in a day.”
