Agricultural marketing Authority (AMA) is firing warning shots at farmers and independent buyers trading and buying cotton grown under the Presidential Free Inputs Scheme. They are being warned that they are endangering losing their licenses. The chairman of the Presidential Free Input Scheme, Stewart Mubonderi said observations are that in Chiredzi, Gokwe and other places where cotton is grown the white gold is being sold illegally to side buyers. The chairman of AMA, Mr Mukwende failed to avail further details. Side market cotton trade is a problem troubling the government.
