CYCLONE IDAI DONATIONS

Faith for the nation campaign promised to construct 10 houses for the cyclone Idai victims, for which, 5 will be constructed in Chimanimani and other 5 in Chipinge. In addition, they promised to help in reconstruction of destroyed houses. The representative of Red Cross a local Zimbabwean celebrity Alick Macheso advised all the singers who used their talent of singing to take care of the broken hearts due of cyclone Idai victims.

Talking to cyclone victims at a local clinic in Chipinge where Red cross and civil protection unit were providing food stuffs, Macheso advised those that are leading in the distribution of donations to do their jobs transparently and to work hard. Red cross donated maize and sugar to the cyclone Idai victims in Chipinge and Chimanimani.

Ambassador Cain Mathema said his board is donating $1 000 to affected schools that were affected by cyclone Idai. However, Program of gathering donations is still going on. People that live in Mashonaland east also delivered their donations, and the donations were submitted by their leaders comrade Apolonia Munzverengwi and A. Munakira one of the members of civil protection unit.
