Honorable Member of Parliament for Chimanimani East cde. Joshua Sako informed people in his constituency that roads and all the bridges that were damaged by cyclone Idai will start working before schools open. Roads are being worked on as we report so that schools can be opened without any problems.

Government has also played its role with the Public Works Department having its manpower and engineers on the ground doing repairs and renovations in schools with the construction of toilets and classroom block taking priority.
Electricity will also be restored in several places before the schools open.
